Alexander placed 1st of 11 in the Piobaireachd competition at the BC Highland Games on Saturday June 26th, as well as 3rd of 12 in the Hornpipe & Jig competition and 4th of 13 in the March, Strathspey & Reel competition. This result maintains his 2nd place position overall for the Grade 1 piping aggregate for the British Columbia Pipers' Association.
Northwest Junior Pipe Band placed 1st with him leading the band for the second win of the 2010 season. The band's competition video is below.
